Undeterred by the typhoon weather at this year's Chinajoy gaming exhibition, enthusiastic players gathered as usual, transforming Shanghai into a haven for the "secondary element" youth. The four-day event attracted 367,000 visitors, 58% from outside Shanghai, with nearly 8,200 international attendees and 743 exhibitors, including 319 overseas companies, marking Chinajoy's rise to the ranks of the world's top gaming exhibitions.

The establishment of Chinajoy has not only become a business card for Shanghai's technology, gaming, and animation culture but has also witnessed the Chinese gaming industry's leap from the PC-dominated 1.0 era to the mobile game-centric 2.0 era. Today, Chinese game developers have become the "world's top stream" in the global mobile gaming sector, with self-developed games like "Genshin Impact" and "Honor of Kings" sweeping the globe.

At this year's Chinajoy, Huawei's "HarmonyOS Native Games" booth was particularly eye-catching, showcasing a new gaming experience based on the HarmonyOS operating system, indicating the boundless possibilities of hardware-software collaboration. Meanwhile, emerging domestic brands like MOSHOW TOYS also demonstrated significant potential in the development of IP-derived products.

More notably, domestic AAA masterpieces such as "Shadow Blade: Zero" and the highly anticipated "Black Myth: Wukong" have not only sparked domestic fervor but also caused waves in the overseas market, showcasing the global influence of Chinese culture. With the booming development of the esports industry, following the inclusion of esports as an official event at the Hangzhou Asian Games and the recent announcement by the International Olympic Committee of the first Olympic Esports Week in 2025 in Saudi Arabia, China's gaming industry stands at the threshold of the 3.0 era of full industry chain development, poised for leapfrog development and becoming a key driver in the upgrade of the technology and cultural industries.
