Pagani Huayra BC Roadster

At the inception of Pagani Automobili, Horacio Pagani's philosophy of car-making, along with the passion and technology embodied in his designed supercars, deeply touched Mr. Benny Caiola from Sicily. The two quickly became close friends, and Mr. Caiola had the honor of being the first customer in Pagani's history. Encouraged by his support, Pagani has been dedicated to creating supercars that are more focused on the track, and the name "BC" is in honor of this influential figure.

The Huayra BC is not a mere upgrade of the Huayra model; it represents the most technologically advanced Huayra to date. It not only incorporates innovative technologies that will be applied to more Pagani models in the future but also features a completely redesigned body.

Inspired by its track-focused predecessors, the Pagani Zonda R and Zonda Cinque, the Huayra BC is designed to be a high-performance street car that brings additional joy and performance to drivers during track days and special events.

The BC's 12-cylinder twin-turbo AMG engine delivers nearly 800 horsepower. In pursuit of ultimate lightweight construction, an electronic parking brake has replaced the traditional mechanical handbrake; the rear exhaust pipes have been reduced to less than 3 kilograms in weight; a new electronic active differential is 40% lighter than that of the Huayra; a fully HiForg aluminum suspension system is 25% lighter while being more rigid, reducing the BC's weight to 1218 kilograms—132 kilograms lighter than the Huayra. A new 7-speed gearbox cuts shift times to half of the Huayra's—just 75 milliseconds. To enhance transmission efficiency, the three-shaft driveshaft introduces technology used in the 24-hour Le Mans endurance race.

Pirelli has specially customized two sets of tires for the BC— everyday P Zero Corsa tires with front 20-inch and rear 21-inch rims, and track-specific P Zero Trofeo R tires with front 19-inch and rear 20-inch rims. Additionally, the ESP system developed by BOSCH for the BC includes a new "Track" mode to further enhance the car's track performance.

To improve aerodynamic efficiency both externally and internally, the entire body of the Huayra BC—except for the roof—has been redesigned by the Italian team, with even the interior air ducts fully optimized. The interior design of the BC is more lightweight and closer to track use requirements. This is a new type of supercar with a completely different style from the Huayra, showcasing Pagani's relentless pursuit of speed, passion, and innovation in a fresh way.
