Ferrari SpA is an Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, headquartered in Maranello. Founded by Enzo Ferrari (1898-1988) in 1939, the company built its first car in 1940, adopted its current name in 1945, and began production of its current road car series in 1947. Ferrari became a publicly listed company in 1960 and was a subsidiary of Fiat SpA from 1963 to 2014. It was spun off from Fiat's successor, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, in 2016. The company currently offers a wide range of models, including several supercars, luxury GTs, and an SUV. Many early Ferraris, dating back to the 1950s and 1960s, are among the most expensive cars in auction history.

Throughout its history, the company has been renowned for its continuous involvement in motorsports, especially Formula One, where its Scuderia Ferrari team is the oldest and most successful team in the series. The Ferrari team has been competing since 1929, initially in Grand Prix races and later in Formula One. Since 1952, it has fielded 15 World Champion drivers, won 16 Constructors' Championships, and accumulated more race wins, pole positions, podiums, fastest laps, and points than any other team in F1 history. Historically active in sports car racing, Ferrari's racing cars have won numerous victories in prestigious events such as the Mille Miglia, Targa Florio, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, securing multiple titles in the World Sportscar Championship. Ferrari's team fans, commonly known as tifosi, are famous for their passion and loyalty to the team.

The Wall Street Journal has described Ferrari as "a symbol of luxury, exquisite craftsmanship, and ultra-fast cars for nearly a century," highlighting the brand's powerful and influential image. With its cars, enthusiast culture, and successful licensing deals, in 2019, financial consultancy Brand Finance ranked Ferrari as the world's strongest brand. As of May 2023, Ferrari is also one of the most valuable automotive manufacturers, valued at approximately $52 billion. As of March 30, 2024, Ferrari's market value stands at $78.62 billion.
